For children from 3 months to 12 years, as an antipyretic for infectious-inflammatory conditions with fever (acute respiratory infections, flu, childhood infections, post-vaccination reactions), and as an analgesic for mild-to-moderate pain (toothache, headache, migraine, neuralgia, earache, sore throat, sprains, muscle pain, rheumatic pain, joint pain).
Active Ingredient: Ibuprofen, 100 mg per 5 mL of suspension.
Composition: Active ingredient: ibuprofen 100 mg (in 5 mL of suspension). Excipients: sucrose, glycerol, sodium methylparaben, sodium propylparaben, citric acid monohydrate, liquid fruit mixture flavor Fls, liquid peppermint flavor, potassium acesulfame, sucralose, liquid banana flavor, sorbitol 70%, purified water, propylene glycol, xanthan gum (clear), colloidal silicon dioxide, polysorbate-80. Active ingredient: Ibuprofen, 100 mg per 5 mL of suspension.
Dosage: Daily dose is 20–30 mg/kg body weight, given in divided doses every 6–8 hours (minimum 4-hour interval): Infants 3–6 months (5–7.6 kg): 2.5 mL, 3 times/day (150 mg/day) Infants 6–12 months (7.7–9 kg): 2.5 mL, 3–4 times/day (150–200 mg/day) Children 1–3 years (10–15 kg): 5 mL, 3 times/day (300 mg/day) Children 4–6 years (16–20 kg): 7.5 mL, 3 times/day (450 mg/day) Children 7–9 years (21–29 kg): 10 mL, 3 times/day (600 mg/day) Children 10–12 years (30–40 kg): 15 mL, 3 times/day (900 mg/day) Duration: no more than 3 days as an antipyretic, no more than 5 days as an analgesic. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Usage Instructions: For oral use. Shake before use until a uniform suspension forms. Take after meals with plenty of liquid. A dosing spoon is included for accurate dosing.
Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other components; asthma, urticaria, or rhinitis provoked by aspirin or other NSAIDs; concurrent use of another NSAID (including COX-2 inhibitors); peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding (active or history of, related to NSAID therapy); hemorrhagic vasculitis; blood clotting disorders; severe renal or hepatic impairment; severe heart failure; third trimester of pregnancy; children under 3 months of age.
Storage Conditions: Store in a dry place protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life — 3 years; use within 6 months after first opening.
