Indications for Use

Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and adolescents over 12 years, when acute diarrhea is associated with abdominal discomfort due to gas accumulation (bloating, cramps, flatulence).

Composition & Active Ingredient

Active Ingredient: Loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg + simethicone 125 mg per tablet.
Composition: Each film-coated tablet contains: active substances — loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg, simethicone 125 mg; excipients — dibasic calcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose PH 101, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, PVP K-30 (povidone), microcrystalline cellulose PH 102, magnesium stearate, purified water. Coating: yellow iron oxide, titanium dioxide, polyvinyl alcohol.

Dosage & Administration

Dosage: Adults and children over 12 years: initially 2 tablets, then 1 tablet after each episode of loose stool. Do not exceed 4 tablets per day, and do not use for more than 2 consecutive days. No dose adjustment needed for elderly patients or those with renal impairment. Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
Usage Instructions: Oral use, regardless of meals. Discontinue immediately if constipation, intestinal obstruction, or abdominal distension develops. If no improvement within 48 hours, discontinue and consult a doctor.

Contraindications

Children under 12 years; hypersensitivity to the components; acute dysentery (blood in stool and fever); acute ulcerative colitis; pseudomembranous colitis associated with antibiotic use; bacterial enterocolitis (Salmonella, Shigella, Campylobacter); conditions where inhibition of peristalsis should be avoided (risk of intestinal obstruction, megacolon).

Storage & Packaging

Storage Conditions: Store in a dry place protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life — 2 years.
