Indications for Use

Amlodil-AB is indicated as replacement therapy for the treatment of essential arterial hypertension and/or stable coronary artery disease in patients adequately controlled with perindopril and amlodipine taken concurrently at the same dose level as in the fixed combination.

Composition & Active Ingredient

Active Ingredient: Perindopril/amlodipine

Composition: Each tablet contains: active substances — perindopril erbumine 4.00 mg or 8.00 mg; amlodipine besylate (equivalent to amlodipine) 5.00 mg or 10.00 mg; excipients — microcrystalline cellulose PH 102, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate (SSG type A), sodium bicarbonate, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide.

Dosage & Administration

Dosage: 1 tablet once daily, preferably in the morning before food. Maximum daily dose — 1 tablet of Amlodil-AB 10 mg/8 mg per day.

Usage Instructions: Tablets for oral use. The fixed-dose combination is not suitable for initial therapy. If dose adjustment is needed, it can be changed or selected by individual titration of the separate components, taking into account indications, the course of the disease, and blood pressure levels.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to perindopril, amlodipine, other ACE inhibitors, dihydropyridine derivatives, or any of the excipients; history of angioedema associated with previous ACE inhibitor therapy; hereditary or idiopathic angioedema; severe arterial hypotension; shock (including cardiogenic); left ventricular outflow tract obstruction; hemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction; pregnancy; breastfeeding; children and adolescents under 18 years.

Storage & Packaging

Storage Conditions: Store in a dry place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life — 3 years.
